Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Program Director to lead the onsite program team at Nellis AFB, NV.

You will be the senior day-to-day interface with Government leadership, coordinating design and construction management across multiple projects to ensure successful execution. The role requires extensive experience with design-build delivery, strong executive communication, and governance capabilities, with the ability to manage complex, mission-critical facilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, architecture, construction management, project management, business, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience delivering complex design, construction, infrastructure, or capital programs.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing large, multi-project programs.
• Experience with collaborative design-build or related integrated delivery methods.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder facilitation, decision-making, and governance skills.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• At least 1 year of prior DoD contracting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite program team and serve as senior interface with Government leadership and stakeholders.
• Establish and manage program governance including PM Plan, decision rights, reviews, and escalation.
• Direct integrated program controls for cost, schedule, risk, change, quality, and performance.
• Oversee PMIS development and operation for timely, accurate program information.
• Coordinate acquisition, design, early construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities.
• Build and manage staffing models leveraging onsite and reach-back resources.
• Facilitate executive-level communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Monitor performance to ensure alignment with mission, scope, schedule, budget, and security.
