Job summary

Eaton’s EPG CPD PCD Power Components Division is currently seeking a Production Scheduler for our Horseheads, NY facility. This onsite role requires residing within 50 miles of Horseheads; relocation is not provided.

You will plan components and sub-assemblies, lead materials planning, and serve as the interface between master scheduling and production to ensure on-time delivery and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in manufacturing production, scheduling, or planning.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Safety Guidelines, PPE, and report any safety incidents or observations.
• Collaborate with Master Scheduler, Material Ops Manager, Network Scheduler and Production Manager to achieve customer satisfaction and plant goals.
• Ensure sub-assembly components and resources are planned to meet the master production schedule requirements.
• Validate capacity availability per plant SIOP requirements.
• Communicate issues constraining performance and recommend possible solutions.
• Monitor transactions in the sub-assembly area and address obstacles to production efficiency.
• Maintain data integrity in Oracle to reflect changes in manufacturing parameters.
• Support inventory guidelines and kanban calculations with accurate data.
• Evaluate effectiveness of existing procedures and recommend improvements.
• Attend meetings and contribute data and information.
