Job summary

Excelta Corporation is seeking a Production Scheduler to coordinate manufacturing schedules, optimize resource use, and maintain smooth workflow in a regulated production environment. The role focuses on aligning timelines with demand while upholding quality and safety standards.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Shop, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Logistics to ensure on-time delivery, accurate forecasting, and continuous improvement across the production process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in production planning or supply chain management in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with production scheduling software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, forecast data, and resource availability.
• Analyze production capacity and adjust plans to meet changing demands and minimize delays.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and optimize inventory levels.
• Utilize advanced planning tools to enhance production efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor production performance metrics and drive continuous operational improvements.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to address production-related quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives to streamline processes and reduce waste.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to align production priorities and timelines.
• Analyze production metrics and generate reports to identify optimization opportunities.
