Job summary

ManpowerGroup is partnering with a leader in manufacturing to fill a Production Planner role in Bloomington, MN, onsite. The position is a 6+ month contract with potential for hire, paying $38-$45 per hour DOE.

You will coordinate with planners, update schedules, and ensure material availability across the subassembly production schedule. The ideal candidate has a BS in Supply Chain or related field, 4+ years planning experience in high-value manufacturing, and strong ERP/MRP and Oracle EBS

Qualifications

• BS in supply chain management or related field
• 4+ years of planning experience in a low volume, high value, custom configured capital equipment manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, standard business practices, and production scheduling methodology
• Oracle EBS experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Works with other planners to coordinate the allocation of materials and plan for future periods and review the current plan.
• Implements decisions in the Subassembly Production Schedule and manages the build from start to finish.
• Coordinates with planners to update the schedule for changes to forecast, tool configurations, inventory and labor availability.
• Incorporates ECN changes into existing work orders and handles rework orders per ECN.
• Communicates production plan changes and potential work stoppage issues; initiates solutions to scheduling, materials, and manufacturing challenges.
• Notifies purchasing staff when shortages need to be expedited.
