Job summary

Samson Rope Technologies in Ferndale, WA is seeking a Production Planner to own the machine-level production plan for the Ferndale facility. You will translate the weekly prioritized jobs into coordinated work across twisting, winding, stranding, and braiding, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient sequencing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/ associate degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of production planning experience, preferably in batch manufacturing.
• Lean manufacturing experience and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Convert the Work Center Capacity Report (WCCR) into daily plans by machine and work center.
• Coordinate first and second twisting, winding, stranding, and braiding; synchronize production.
• Sequence jobs using run times, capabilities, labor, material readiness, color, creel configurations.
• Verify active and completed work with production leaders and operators daily; communicate changes.
