Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX company, is seeking an onsite procurement-support professional in Clayville, NY. The role involves assisting supply chain activities, materials and distribution, vendor management, and preparing purchase orders and requisitions.

Under supervision, you will maintain stock, coordinate with off-shift teams, and help with monthly reports and audits. The position offers benefits and a 4x10 schedule (6:00am–4:00pm) with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., GED) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Good attendance record and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work from heights up to 60 feet and wear a respirator.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to ascend/descend stairs, stand for extended periods, bend, squat, twist, reach overhead, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical/administrative support to supply chain areas including materials and distribution, procurement, and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) oversight.
• Under moderate supervision, perform varied and complex procurement activities.
• Maintain and replenish all stockroom and VMI supplies.
• Coordinate workflow and procurement requirements with off-shift employees.
• Communicate delivery changes to suppliers and prepare purchase orders and requisitions.
• Assist with reviewing and preparing monthly reports and audits.
