Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to generate technical solutions using 7 Diamonds, Red X and DFMEA.
• Exercises independent judgment on complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of GM, Quality Systems, and lean concepts.
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to work off shift and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily plant floor requests and develop containment actions with long-term corrective actions.
• Present teams with clear problem definitions and technical guidance on complex problems.
• Support monitoring of execution and compliance to global quality requirements and GMS processes.
• Manage projects as requested by plant leadership.
• Support an off shift and work autonomously with occasional supervision.
• Lead continuous improvement projects for product quality and process stability.
• Coordinate communication with Production, Engineering, Quality, and GSC.
