Job summary

The Marvin Group in Southern California near LAX is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, improve quality, and reduce costs. You'll collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams on new techniques and product introductions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing or data analysis, with hands-on shop floor experience and proficiency in MRP/ERP software, preferably SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of engineering, manufacturing or data analysis experience.
• Able to work on manufacturing and/or assembly floor.
• Technical proficiency in complex manufacturing activities.
• Experience with MRP/ERP software.
• Proficient understanding of Project Management.
• Detail oriented and adaptable.
• Must be able to speak/read/write English.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and improving existing manufacturing processes to increase safety, efficiency and quality, while reducing costs
• Identifying, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to improve manufacturing processes
• Performing failure analysis, and implementing corrective and preventative actions
• Working closely with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth production operations
• Providing hands‑on support on the shop floor, integrating new products & technologies, and supporting area-wide continuous improvement initiatives
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce waste, and improve overall production performance
• Providing training and support to end-users on new products, processes, equipment, and technologies
• Investigating and resolving production issues related to materials and processes, ensuring robust and cost‑effective solutions
• Establishing metrics, collecting and analyzing data, and using statistical process control to monitor process performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Utilize SAP to model, analyze, and improve business processes
