Job summary

Boston BioProducts, Inc. is seeking a Process Development Associate for an onsite role in Milford, MA. You will support new product introductions, ensure customer specifications and quality, and drive continuous improvements across formulations and processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Biology or related field and 2–3 years in GMP/ISO manufacturing, with strong formulation calculations and cross-functional collaboration. Onsite work, safety training, and SOP maintenance are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires strong formulation calculation ability.
• Experience in GMP/ISO manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and adapt to priorities.
• Coordination with BBP team members and clients to ensure project completion.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, perform, verify and review chemical product formulations.
• Onboard new products following BBP procedures and standards.
• Generate manufacturing batch records and translate customer requirements into technical instructions for manufacturing.
• Create pilot, verification, and investigational batches.
• Assist investigations for complaints, verifications or new procedures.
• Draft, review and update SOPs, Work Instructions, Memos, Safety Data Sheets, etc.
• Communicate with clients and vendors to ensure timelines and projects are completed.
• Forecast and provide minimum quantities of raw materials, chemicals and consumables.
• Calibrate, qualify, validate, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Review prior processes, SOPs, and procedures for potential improvement.
• Train staff in new procedures, equipment usage, lab and chemical safety.
