Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. seeks a seasoned PC&IS Engineer (Controls and Instrumentation) to work onsite in Kansas City’s process plant environment. You will lead instrumentation, controls, electrical design, and engineering deliverables while coordinating with customers and offshore teams.

You’ll develop installation packages, specify instrumentation, configure PLC/SCADA systems, and support startup activities. Strong vendor interaction and NFPA 70E readiness are important for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of instrumentation and control engineering experience.
• Experience as an Instrumentation and Control Design Engineer for industrial plants.
• Strong knowledge of process plant instrumentation specification and selection.
• Experience designing controls and hardware for plant instrumentation monitoring and control.
• Hands-on instrument setup, calibration verification, and adjustments.
• Familiarity with PLC and SCADA systems for industrial networks.
• Experience with LV electrical distribution design and NEC-compliant systems.
• NFPA 70E training or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work onsite as PC&IS Engineer in a process plant environment.
• Develop power and instrumentation installation designs and engineering packages.
• Define scope of work with customers and coordinate with offshore teams.
• Coordinate inputs with customers, vendors, and construction teams.
• Attend design reviews and secure necessary approvals.
• Support construction and startup activities.
• Lead electrical startup of process and packaging equipment.
