Job summary

Experitec Inc. in Chesterfield, MO is hiring Process Automation Engineer I or II for on-site work with diverse client projects. You will engage with engineering, order management, and sales teams to support design, commissioning, and modernization of process control systems across multiple industries.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, customer interaction, and ongoing safety and professional development within a tightly-knit Engineering Services team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial Technology or equivalent with relevant experience.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/process control operations.
• Experience reading P&IDs.
• Office-based with on-site customer sites M–F, 8am–5pm; rotating on-call.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Commitment to safety and ability to travel domestically up to 50% as needed.
• Ability to work with teams and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and design services to maximize value of process control systems.
• Rotate through engineering teams to service a range of customers.
• Assist with plant operations and optimization responsibilities.
• Handle process control design, automation system configuration, project execution, instrument selection, and construction support.
• Deliver solutions using DeltaV, DeltaV SIS, AMS and other Emerson solutions.
• Lead with technical knowledge and collaborate to maximize client profitability.
