Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare and food service team at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. This on-site role typically schedules 8–16 hours per week, offering flexible PRN coverage and opportunities to impact patient nutrition.

You will assess nutritional needs, implement interventions, and work with the care team to enhance residents’ quality of life while meeting regulatory standards and dietetic practice guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field is preferred.
• Passes national examination (CDR) or meets eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements and familiar with care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Adhere to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with departments to implement dining and nutrition procedures.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement programs.
