Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is launching a new onsite pharmacy location in Nashua, NH and is hiring PRN Pharmacists to join our team.

As a PRN pharmacist, you will evaluate, prepare and dispense medications, provide clinical care and exceptional customer service, and collaborate with prescribers to optimize patient therapy.

Hours are typically 8 to 10 hours, 7 days a week with rotating weekends and holidays; the role involves supervisory duties over technicians and support for ambulatory pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or PharmD with an active pharmacist license.
• 1–3 years of direct retail/ambulatory pharmacy experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time and work under time constraints.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and drug interactions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, prepare, and dispense medications per standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and clinical care.
• Interact with patients to address questions about therapy.
• Review patient plans for therapeutic appropriateness.
• Consult with prescribers to determine care plans.
• Support ambulatory pharmacy business goals and marketing events.
• Assist with managing pharmacy technicians and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and dispensing processes.
• Oversee claims adjudication and reimbursement considerations.
• Respond to patient inquiries and escalate as needed.
• Provide pharmacy and therapeutic guidance to staff.
