Qualifications

• Requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or PharmD/BS in Pharmacy from an accredited school
• Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in the appropriate state
• Broad training in business administration, sales, marketing, IT and ambulatory pharmacy
• 1–3 years of retail/ambulatory care pharmacy experience

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, prepare, and dispense medications according to standards and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and clinical care
• Interact with patients to answer questions about medication therapy
• Review patient care plans for therapeutic appropriateness
• Consult with prescribers to determine patient care plans
• Assist in achieving ambulatory pharmacy goals and marketing events
• Assist with managing ambulatory pharmacy technicians (hiring, training, performance)
• Monitor staff to ensure compliance with policies and dispensing procedures
• Submit and review adjudicated prescription claims for reimbursement
• Respond to patient inquiries and close outstanding concerns
• Provide pharmacy and therapeutic consultation to organizational staff
• Assist with scheduling and daily reporting for technicians
