Job summary

Plumb is seeking an experienced Client Accounting Supervisor to lead the onsite team responsible for day-to-day financial administration for sophisticated private clients and families in La Jolla.

You will manage bank and investment reconciliations, oversee bill pay and cash disbursements, and ensure accurate financial reporting while maintaining client confidentiality and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in accounting operations, client accounting, bookkeeping, or related work.
• Supervising accounting associates or teams.
• Strong bank and credit-card reconciliation knowledge.
• Experience reviewing transactions and identifying discrepancies.
• Discretion, confidentiality, and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the onsite accounting team, establish priorities and coach associates.
• Oversee bill pay, cash disbursements, and payment workflows.
• Manage private client accounting across multiple accounts and entities.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
• Maintain excellent client experience with responsive communication and service.
