Qualifications

• 4+ years in accounting operations and related fields.
• Experience supervising or managing employees.
• Strong bank and credit-card reconciliation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to review large data sets.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Judgment to escalate issues when needed.
• Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems.
• Willingness to work full-time, 100% onsite in La Jolla.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Accounting and Bill Pay Associates onsite in La Jolla.
• Set daily/weekly priorities and ensure work is completed.
• Monitor workloads, accuracy, responsiveness, and follow-through.
• Conduct regular coaching and performance discussions.
• Train associates on procedures, accounting fundamentals, and client service.
• Identify performance issues and apply corrective action.
• Onboard new team members as the site grows.
• Maintain culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee bill payments, disbursements, and documentation.
• Support month-end processes and coordinate with senior staff.
