Job summary

TAE Technologies is seeking a Machinist Fabricator to set up and operate a range of machine tools to produce precision parts. You will study work orders and drawings, select tooling, and verify first-piece quality to ensure tolerance and fit.

Responsibilities include problem-solving on the shop floor, maintaining tools, and completing daily status reports. Onsite role in Southern California with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years manual mill and lathe setup experience.
• 2-5 years CNC programming and setup (Anilam preferred).
• Experience with machine tools and metrology tools.
• Ability to work with little supervision and in a team.
• Proficiency with MasterCam, SolidWorks, Jira/Confluence and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Plan machining using blueprints, GD&T and specifications.
• Select tools and verify settings by measurements on first runs.
• Maintain tools and perform preventive maintenance per guidelines.
• Collaborate with team and report progress daily.
