Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, automation, or related field.
• Proficiency in PLC languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block.
• Experience with SCADA/BAS platforms (Ignition, Wonderware, Triudium, GE iFIX, EcoStructure).
• Strong knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA, DCIM, BACNET).
• Proven ability to manage projects in engineering or industrial automation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Must be proficient in UL508A requirements.
• Familiarity with ANSI standards and IEC standards.
• Working knowledge of MV/LV switchgear and associated equipment (UPS, ATS).

Responsibilities

• System design and integration for PSC and software delivery.
• Advise on PLC control sequences and operation docs.
• Advise IO tag and network device databases.
• Review electrical diagrams and technical submittals.
• Advise on SCADA systems and network topologies.
• Gather requirements and translate into technical specs.
• Collaborate with software, electrical engineers, and PMs.
• Continuously improve system performance by configuring BAS/PLC/SCADA.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, diagrams, and updates.
• Provide technical training and support on schematics and operations.
