You will partner with plant leadership to review variances, build forecasts, and provide primary financial support for the Mapleton foundry, while aligning with GAAP and corporate standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience desired.
• Maintains financial records per GAAP and organizational standards.
• Creates reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
• Creates and utilizes automated tools for updating, analyzing and reporting of consolidated financial results.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.
• Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
• Creating and utilizing automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of consolidated financial results.
• Work directly with plant leadership to review variances, build forecasts, teach business/financial acumen, answer questions, and be their primary financial support.
• Manage both legal entity and accountable reporting for the Mapleton foundry.
• Work directly with a dedicated resource from the accounting center of excellence to direct work activities, monthly financial reporting, analysis, closing activities, etc.
• Participate in cost reduction projects led by the facility, provide key financial support and leadership.
