Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Cost Accountant to develop and maintain standard costs, analyze production costs, and deliver actionable insights to improve efficiency and profitability. You will report to the Plant Controller and collaborate with the plant operations and division finance teams on financial reporting.

Ideal candidates have a solid accounting foundation, manufacturing experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, basic troubleshooting).
• Prior use of SAP or other ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for annual revaluation and daily setup of new materials.
• Align direct material pricing, freight, labor hours, machine hours, and setup times across planning, sourcing, and production.
• Compile labor and manufacturing spend reports and lead regular reviews with department leads.
• Analyze production cost variances and coordinate with teams to address improvements.
• Prepare and post all journal entries as part of monthly closing cycle.
• Support inventory cycle counts and site balance sheet reconciliation.
