Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Plant Accounting Supervisor in Cincinnati, OH to lead daily reporting and cost analysis at the plant. You will oversee Plant Accounting Coordinators, ensure timely yield, inventory and labor reports, and support BOM maintenance with strong Excel and SAP skills.

The role is onsite with potential travel to other plant locations and requires detail-oriented leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with 2+ years of accounting experience
• Experience leading others or mentoring staff is preferred
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency with Excel and large data sets
• SAP experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze daily reports from SAP and other sources for management
• Perform month-end close activities and account reconciliations
• Assist in BOM cost maintenance and yield reporting
• Lead and train Plant Accounting Coordinators
• Produce packaging, ingredients and MRO cycle counts with the Purchasing dept.
