ONE Gas, Inc. in Oklahoma City is seeking an Engineer I for Pipeline Systems and Engineering Services.

The role is strictly onsite at the Oklahoma City Service Center, with responsibilities spanning design, operation, and maintenance of pipeline and storage systems. The incumbent will coordinate with multiple regions and contractors, support bid proposals and construction activities, and provide engineering support across teams.

Qualifikationen

• Up to two years of relevant professional experience beyond education.
• Working knowledge of piping plan standards and related governmental regulations.
• Ability to apply math, algebra, calculus and statistics.
• Experience with office software such as AutoCAD, Stoner, Excel and Access.
• Experience and training in interpersonal/communication skills and customer service policies.
• Ability to read and interpret regulations, blueprints, contracts and reports.
• Proven ability to communicate and present information clearly.
• Fluency in English reading and writing.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and perform a basic level of engineering activities.
• Assist with design, operation, and maintenance of pipeline and storage systems.
• Support project coordination among regions, departments, and contractors including bid proposals, line extensions, and construction/relocation projects.
• Provide technical assistance to management, employees, regulators, contractors, and customers on topics like meter/regulator settings, equipment design, pipeline sizes, modeling, and growth planning.
• Review and assist in preparation of studies, proposals, contracts, status reports, job orders, and requisitions.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.
