Job summary

ONEOK is seeking an experienced Pipeline Operator to perform intermediate-level work in the safe, reliable operation and maintenance of natural gas pipeline and compression assets across multiple sites within the assigned area.

You will handle day-to-day operation, monitoring, maintenance, inspections, pigging, line locating, and emergency response while supporting DOT-covered functions and regulatory requirements. This role requires readiness for after-hours on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining pipeline systems and related equipment used in natural gas and liquids gathering and transmission.
• Experience in measurement, cathodic protection, and compressor/pump station operations.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Knowledge of company and governmental operating/safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Experience with pigging pipelines, blowing drips, gauging tanks, and collecting liquids.
• Patrolling pipelines, performing leakage surveys, and locating/marking lines.
• Experience with valves, dehydration equipment, scrubbers, and separators.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Project, Access, Word, and similar applications.

Responsibilities

• Startup and shutdown operations.
• Pigging pipelines and monitoring liquids/gas quality.
• Collecting liquids and gauging tanks.
• Locating and marking lines.
• Monitoring and maintaining cathodic protection systems.
• Patrolling pipelines for leaks and damage.
• Responding to emergencies and regulatory requests.
