Job summary

UMass Memorial Health at Milford Regional Franklin Outpatient seeks a part-time Physical Therapist to provide care in an on-site setting. The role supports 24 hours per week, with a day shift schedule and a requirement for MA licensure within six months of hire. A Doctor of Physical Therapy or equivalent is expected.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, planning therapies, applying modalities, educating families, and documenting care. A signing bonus may be available after interview.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited PT program.
• Current license to practice physical therapy in Massachusetts; license within 6 months if new.
• Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Board Examination.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapy evaluations and develops treatment plans for varied patient populations.
• Analyzes data, assesses functional ability, and consults with physicians when needed.
• Provides individualized treatment including exercises, ROM, manual therapy and modalities.
• Educates patients and families, participates in care planning and discharge processes.
• Documents care in the medical record and assists with departmental operations.
