Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to administer therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans for diverse patient populations across inpatient and outpatient settings. Requires MA licensure (new grads must obtain within 6 months) and board exam completion; supervision by a licensed PT and note co-signature until licensure is obtained.

Position details include Monday–Friday, with one full weekend per month, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current license to practice physical therapy in Massachusetts; obtain MA license within 6 months if new grad.
Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Board Examination.
Demonstrated clinical knowledge and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Administers therapy evaluations and develops treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
Analyzes data, assesses progress, and consults with physicians as needed.
Provides individualized treatment plans including exercises, ROM, neuromuscular education, and mobility training.
Educates patients and families; participates in care meetings and discharge planning; documents care and billing.
