Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and non-clinical patient services at our Boston campus. Under supervision, you will take vital signs, record information, schedule visits, and help manage patient flow to ensure a positive experience.

Required: High School diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years MA experience; BLS and CMA certifications preferred. Onsite role at 332 Hanover Street, 40 hours weekly, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Medical Assisting associate degree preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years in MA or medical field required.
• Licenses: BLS certification and CMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs.
• Record medical history and test results in medical records.
• Take vital signs and collect blood samples or specimens.
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment for healthcare providers; assist with general office tasks.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate care.
