Job summary

TalentBurst seeks a Phlebotomist I for an onsite local contract in Leesburg, FL. The role is 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, with shift from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Duration is 3+ months, with Sundays and Mondays off.

You will draw blood, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 6 months of phlebotomy experience, and basic data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months experience REQUIRED. One( ) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Perform phlebotomy and processing duties following established procedures.
• Work under supervision and maintain safety and confidentiality.
