Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist in Encinitas, CA for a 3-month contract. Onsite schedule 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST. Pay rate $22.00–$27.20 per hour. Requires CA CPT license and phlebotomy credentials with clinical and forensic specimen handling duties.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen processing, accurate record-keeping, and maintaining a safe environment. Must be able to work weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred (Required in CA).
• Active California CPT license is required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform daily patient phlebotomy tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain a safe, professional environment for patients and staff.
• Carry out venipuncture and specimen handling following established procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate trust and professionalism with patients and clients.
