Job summary

Global Technical Talent, Inc. in Folsom, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our client-site healthcare team. The role focuses on drawing blood, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining patient trust in a fast-paced setting.

The contract lasts about 5 months with onsite schedule 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, rotating weekends, and overtime. California, Nevada, or Washington phlebotomy credentials are preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• CPT license required per State of Credentials/Licenses Required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Performs with confidence the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
