Job summary

Visante is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to process and fill prescriptions for patients of Visante clients. Under supervision, responsibilities include prescription management, patient care, and medication accuracy, from processing to dispensing, while maintaining inventory and billing tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Pharmacy Technician license/certification per state regulations or willingness to obtain licensure.
• Preferred: 3 years of pharmacy experience in retail or specialty.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process prescriptions from multiple sources with accuracy.
• Dispense medications and maintain organized inventory.
• Prepare outbound medications for patient delivery.
• Handle patient refill calls and resolve billing issues.
• Greet patients and manage calls, directing inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Support the pharmacist with medication orders as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with policies.
• Demonstrate multitasking, sound judgment, and prioritization.
• Collaborate with team and build client relationships.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager.
