Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complies with Kaiser Permanente quality, safety and emergency policies.
• Verifies prescription refill requests and contacts medical offices for authorization.
• Types prescription labels with patient name, physician, medication, strength, usage, date.
• Selects medications, counts/pours, labels, and affixes refill instructions.
• Calculates prescription cost and processes sales receipts.
• Maintains and audits pharmacy inventory and neatness of work area.
• Balances daily revenue and reconciles cash, checks and cards.
• Monitors workflow and provides guidance to Pharmacy Clerks.
• Performs Pharmacy Clerk duties as needed.
