Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing processes and data entry, coordinating with patients and providers to ensure accurate fulfillment. This onsite role in Florida involves preparing, labeling, and packaging medications, with collaboration across customer service, billing, and shipping teams.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, active state licensure/registration, and national certification (PTCB/ExCPT) where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active state pharmacy technician licensure or registration.
• National certification (PTCB or ExCPT) preferred or required by state.

Responsibilities

• Under pharmacist supervision, processes new and refill prescriptions by verifying required elements and data entry.
• Communicate with patients, physician offices, and insurance providers by phone or fax for prescription details.
• Review incoming faxed prescriptions, attach to patient profiles, and follow up for missing information.
• Prepare, label, assemble, and package medications and supplies; assist with inventory via expirations.
• Collaborate with customer service, billing, pharmacy, and shipping to move orders efficiently.
• Print and triage delivery tickets and pick medications and supplies per documentation.
• Assist with inventory management including stocking and pulling expired items; handle cold chain items.
