• Greets people entering the pharmacy and ascertains their needs.

• Receives, checks-in, rotates, and stores medications and supplies.
• Completes data entry, insurance and billing procedures, and prepares prescriptions.
• Supports drug inventory, distribution, and quality control.
• Participates in physical inventory of all pharmaceutical products.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of the pharmacy.
• Restocks dispensing areas.
• Interprets medication labels and picks medications from stock.
• Escalates issues to Pharmacists as needed.
• Understands laws related to Pharmacy Technician Trainee practice.
