Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• General PC knowledge is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to read, compare and differentiate data.
• Ability to view and inspect small medications for extended periods.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each package has correct paperwork, envelopes, medications, packing and/or shipping labels before sealing and sending to patients.
• Work on one order at a time at the workstation.
• Ensure the address prints correctly on each package.
• Seal bags properly; printers are loaded with correct paper.
• Package prescriptions requiring special handling per policy.
• Collaborate with coworkers to maintain productivity and quality.
• Escalate issues to leadership when needed.
• Bulk up medications from manufacturer bottles and label large containers.
• Visually inspect patient-bound medications.
• Prepare mail sacks or bulk containers for shipment.
• Manual material handling, storage, and stocking.
• Sort literature packs to CADS/Averts stations.
• Keep workstation clean; perform other duties as needed.
