Qualifications

• Active AZ State Pharmacy Technician license (non-trainee) and current CPhT certification required.
• 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy data entry position (retail, community, or mail-order).
• Proficient computer ability and data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy rate.
• Demonstrated background in customer service with a high standard of professionalism.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays as operationally required.

Responsibilities

• Process new and refill prescription orders accurately and review before submission, aiming for daily KPIs.
• Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain missing or unclear information, including demographics and prescription details.
• Verify accuracy of patient, prescriber, and medication data and correct discrepancies to maintain order integrity.
• Coordinate workflow with pharmacists, technicians, and support staff for efficient operations.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient data per regulations.
• Apply high level of technical precision to all processing tasks.
