Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license preferred; license status required where applicable.
• Experience with patient assistance programs is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Recover drugs for indigent patients without third-party coverage.
• Liaise with physicians, patients, and pharma companies on program processes.
• Answer questions on Cardinal Health policies and reimbursement programs.
• Maintain daily contact with patients, nurses, physicians, social services, and pharma reps.
• Educate stakeholders on program guidelines and referral processes.
• Manage applications to manufacturer patient assistance programs.
