Job summary

Skowhegan Savings Bank seeks a Personal Banker to join the Jackman team. This onsite role supports customers with deposits, withdrawals, and basic banking needs while building relationships.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 32.5–37 hours per week, with opportunities for growth. The position offers an hourly wage between $17.25 and $20.00, with potential to advance to $25.77 per hour as experience grows, and requires strong customer service and cash handling skills in a retail banking

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year experience in retail banking, lending, sales, customer service and/or cash handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and provides a welcoming, customer-focused environment.
• Processes customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintains cash drawer balance and follows bank policies.
• Cross-sells bank products and services to build relationships.
• Assists with end-of-day activities and branch operations.
• Participates in training to advance product knowledge and service skills.
