Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Massachusetts is seeking a Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist to cover call-outs, vacations, leaves, and vacancies across two OBGYN locations in western Massachusetts. You will work independently, owning your scanning day and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include performing ultrasound exams, confirming orders, maintaining equipment, supporting training, and contributing to department research and quality improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Education: Diagnostic Imaging certificate/diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Experience: 0–1 year as Ultrasound Technologist; 1–2 years preferred.
• Credentials (preferred): ARDMS Certified Sonographer or ARRT Sonography (R.T.(S)(ARRT)).
• Tech-savvy: Comfortable with imaging systems, EHR, reporting systems, and PACS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding patient experience: perform ultrasound exams and produce images.
• Keep exams safe and accurate: confirm patient identity and review orders.
• Run your own space: prepare and clean equipment and rooms.
• Team up: train staff and students; work with leadership on workflow.
