Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Telecommunications Analyst to support the JSP ETM - NG program at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The role requires full-time onsite work with a 12-hour shift schedule (Sun-Tue and every other Wed 6am-6pm). Telecommuting is not allowed.

You will troubleshoot transport circuits, perform Tier III repairs, manage Type-1 encryption, and maintain complex C2 networks in a secure, 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2 years hardware engineering experience; 1+ years in Technical Control/SCIF environment
• Experience designing hardware, computer systems, and electrical components

Responsibilities

• Detect, report, troubleshoot and repair Pentagon transport circuits in a 24/7 facility
• Perform O&M for complex C2 networks
• Troubleshoot and isolate complex network outages to minimize downtime
• Develop and present modified schematics reflecting network design changes
• Provision and re-route C2 traffic for VIP/Flag Officer needs
• Perform Tier III repair of communications equipment to card/port level
• Admin duties for Type-1 encryption management network, incl. firmware/software upgrades
• Use monitoring tools to provide reactive/proactive support for network/systems
