Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX is seeking a Research Coordinator II in Pediatrics - Nutrition to support a metabolic research program within the USDA/ARS Children’s Nutrition Research Center.

You will recruit and consent participants, maintain regulatory documents, coordinate visits, manage data in REDCap, and liaise with physicians and research staff to ensure protocol fidelity. This onsite role requires GCP knowledge and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; four years of related experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of FDA Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Recruitment and consent of research participants.
• Education of participants on study procedures as needed.
• Documentation and maintenance of the research database.
• Submission of research protocols for regulatory agencies (IRB).
• Coordinate with nursing units and schedule research visits.
• Perform study-related tasks (e.g., height/weight measurements, questionnaires).
• Prepare reports to principal investigator and research staff.
