Job summary

Truity Partners in Wisconsin is seeking a Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to join a close-knit accounting team. This hands-on role handles weekly payroll for about 50 employees and a variety of bookkeeping duties within a smaller, collaborative environment.

You will work on accounts payable/receivable, cash deposits, and month-end tasks while supporting the accounting team on special projects. Opportunity to expand responsibilities over time with a stable, growth‑oriented employer.

Qualifications

• Experience with bookkeeping, payroll, or similar roles.
• Familiar with ERP/accounting software; QuickBooks helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to follow up with employees and customers to resolve items.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office applications.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a small team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on more accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for ~50 employees.
• Review timekeeping information and follow up on missing entries.
• Reconcile and record payroll liabilities.
• Assist with commissions and other payroll activity.
• Prepare and record cash deposits.
• Support accounts receivable and customer collection activity.
• Perform bookkeeping and clerical accounting functions.
• Support month-end accounting and general ledger activity.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist accounting team with additional projects as needed.
