• Perform patient admissions tasks including MRN assignment, medical necessity checks, insurance collection, and processing physician orders.

• Adhere to policies and deliver compassionate customer service; meet POS goals.
• Audit and correct accounts using quality systems; provide statistics to Patient Access leadership.
• Pre-register patient accounts with demographic/insurance data and discuss financial liabilities and payment options.
• Explain consent forms, obtain signatures, and distribute patient education documents.
• Verify insurance eligibility and enter benefit data to support billing and POS processes.
• Review ABN guidance to inform Medicare patients of potential non-payment and distribute ABN forms as required.
