Job summary

American Health Imaging 3T in Birmingham, AL seeks a PRN Advanced EMT/Paramedic to provide onsite clinical support at our imaging center. The Clinical Care Coordinator delivers emergency response, contrast administration, and patient care with a licensed provider supervision.

This role supports technologists and ensures a safe, positive patient experience. The position requires current Paramedic or AEMT credentials, BLS and ACLS, IV competency, MRI safety knowledge, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Current license, certification, or credential including Parametric, or AEMT.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• IV credentials/competency.
• MRI safety and imaging center procedures knowledge.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to follow HIPAA and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite responder during medical emergencies and coordinate rapid response efforts.
• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) per credentials.
• Administer medications and treatments within scope, including oxygen and epinephrine when appropriate.
• Support technologists and patient care team for safe, efficient imaging experiences.
• Maintain patient flow and assist with pre-exam screening and post-scan handoff.
