Job summary

American Health Imaging is seeking an experienced Float MRI Technologist to cover our Birmingham, AL offices. This full-time role requires MRI registration and the ability to cover shifts Monday-Friday as needed in the Birmingham market, with 36-40 hours per week.

You will perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to deliver exceptional care. Strong anatomy knowledge, MRI safety, and IV skills are essential.

Qualifications

• MRI registered with ARRT-MR certification.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current CPR certification required.
• IV certification/skills required.
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging techniques.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate.

Full-Time Float MRI Technologist

Shifts vary Monday-Friday to cover open shifts throughout Birmingham market (36-40 hrs per week)

American Health Imaging is seeking an experienced, registered, and patient-oriented Float MRI Technologist covering our Birmingham, AL offices. This is a full-time position, and candidates must be MRI registered!

What You'll Do

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging techniques.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate.
