Foxtrot Services is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to deliver hands-on Palantir Foundry solutions on-site in Washington, D.C. You will embed with client teams, translating mission needs into technical configurations and actionable roadmaps within a mission-driven environment.

The role emphasizes data engineering, stakeholder engagement, and leadership of execution teams, with 3–4 days per week on-site and a focus on performance and scalability in complex enterprise settings.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or 3–7 years of equivalent experience.
• 3–7 years in national security analytics with understanding of defence acquisition and program management.
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior officials.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams and deliver forward‑deployed technical solutions up to five days per week.
• Configure Palantir Foundry data pipelines, integrate data sources, and support containerised deployments.
• Engage stakeholders as the primary technical interface for live data deep‑dives and scenario modelling.
• Develop mission workflows and dashboards to translate assessments into monitors.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues, performing root cause analysis for performance and scalability.
• Lead execution teams, mentor teammates, and shape institutional knowledge of data platforms.
