Job summary

System One is seeking a Packaging Technician in Athens, GA for a 3-month temp assignment. The role requires hands-on operation of packaging lines, inspection for quality, and adherence to cGMP procedures. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 3 p.m.

to 1 a.m., onsite with compensation $18.01–$19.28 per hour. Applicants should have a HS diploma or higher, 2–3 years manufacturing experience, and ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma; Associates preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Detail oriented with effective communication and quality mindset.
• Equipment/process troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment (labelers, pick and place, heat tunnel, vision systems, forklift).
• Inspect product against quality guidelines and complete batch tickets.
• Perform equipment change-overs and set-up; troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain cGMP documentation and SOP compliance.
• Communicate processing needs and progress to shift leaders and supervisor.
• Keep work area safe, clean and organized; cross-train as needed.
