Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Packaging Technician for a 6-month assignment in Athens, GA. The role runs on a 3rd shift schedule from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with responsibilities including operating packaging equipment, assisting with setup, and ensuring accurate data entry and documentation.

The candidate must have a High School diploma or GED. The position emphasizes adherence to SOPs, safety, and effective communication within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures to operate packaging equipment.
• Assists during set up of Packaging equipment.
• Maintains all waste materials in the proper satellite storage bins.
• Assists in completing all documentation required.
• Observes, challenges, advises, and supports teammates to adhere to policies and/or procedures.
• Effectively communicates process and/or equipment needs.
• Responsible for data entry which includes recording product packaging information, downtime, and standard production yields.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organize work environment.
• Maintains facilities and equipment as required by Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment following SOPs.
• Set up packaging lines and assist with line changes.
• Record packaging data including downtime and yields.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and waste bins.
• Support teammates and ensure policy compliance.
