Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking an onsite Graphic Packaging Designer in Irvine for a 3-4 month contract. Work 4 days onsite with Fridays remote; hourly rate up to $32 on W2. You will design packaging, product imagery, and ecommerce assets while upkeeping brand consistency across touchpoints.

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio showing consumer product packaging and recent design experience for new product launches, with 3+ years in the field and proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of graphic design experience with packaging/ecommerce.
• Strong eye for brand consistency across formats.
• Experience creating concepts for style guides or sub-brands.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
• Strong presentation design and polished decks.
• Familiarity with preparing imagery for ecommerce platforms.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Highly organized with file management.
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and adapt visual assets across packaging, ecommerce, and marketing collateral.
• Develop concepts for style guides, brand refreshes, and subcollections.
• Update packaging artwork per brand guidelines across product lines.
• Prepare production-ready files with correct dielines and specs.
• Create and retouch product imagery for ecommerce platforms.
• Design presentations to communicate concepts and updates to teams.
• Support broader brand design needs as they arise.
• Maintain organized file structures and version control.
• Ensure quality and adherence to brand standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to meet timelines.
• Perform prepress checks for print-ready packaging.
