Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Capital Project Scheduler to support a major capital construction project in the industrial manufacturing sector. The candidate will serve as the owner's representative, overseeing schedule integrity, risk analysis, contractor coordination, and project controls for a $150M initiative on site in Clayton, NC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project scheduling experience on capital construction or industrial projects.
• Experience developing resource-loaded Level 4 schedules.
• Proven ability to analyze schedule risks, dependencies, delays, and recovery strategies.
• Experience coordinating contractors, field personnel, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the integrated project schedule with contractor and owner activities.
• Review baseline schedules and updates for logic, sequencing, and milestones.
• Validate progress and analyze critical/near-critical paths and schedule performance.
• Coordinate scheduling activities across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Prepare schedule reports and look-ahead forecasts for project leadership.
