Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in Raleigh-Durham seeks a detail-oriented Project Scheduler to lead IMS development for complex advanced manufacturing and critical construction projects. You’ll coordinate schedules with design-build teams, vendors, and cost controllers to align timelines with procurement and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial project scheduling, strong skills in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Power BI, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in project scheduling for industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of commissioning, qualification (C&Q), and validation processes.
• Fluency in English; German or additional languages are a plus for multinational projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for large-scale projects, including milestones like commissioning and validation.
• Coordinate timelines with internal design-build teams and external stakeholders (contractors, vendors).
• Monitor progress using Primavera P6 or MS Project; adjust schedules for scope changes or delays.
• Identify scheduling disruptions and recommend corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, validation protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Create progress dashboards and earned value metrics (CPI, SPI) for teams and leadership.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to align priorities and communicate timeline changes.
• Maintain scheduling standards and templates for consistency across projects.
• Collaborate with cost controllers and risk managers to integrate financial data.
